We consider every interview in the Memory Documentation Project to be an intrinsic part of humanity’s memory as well as that of all Armenians, and so it belongs to all humanity. For this reason, all recordings of memory, both audio-visual and written, are made freely available to all. In publishing them the Centre for Western Armenian Studies does not seek any financial gain; it is simply the committed and careful gatekeeper of the priceless treasures of human experience which have been entrusted to it. Nevertheless, this collection of materials is the product of great efforts and great sacrifices, and we consider it the minimal expression of human gratitude to treat them with care.

Anyone who intends to share Memory Documentation Project materials on social media or use them for personal or non-personal purposes, especially academics in their research, mentioning the following:

  1. The name and surname of the interviewee
  2. The year of the interview
  3. The interview number
  4. The name and surname of the interviewer
  5. The name of the Memory Documentation Project
  6. The initiator and organiser, the Centre for Western Armenian Studies (in bold where possible)

Thus:
